Raising a glass to the new Kilmory PT1934 social club
The community of Kilmory raised a glass or two on Saturday March 16 2013 as the new PT1934 Social Club opened for business.
Seven years ago the Lagg Hotel public bar closed and the village had been without a pub since.
But in typical Kilmory style, the community has rallied once again to open its very own bar.
Samantha Payne, who has been responsible for getting the bar up and running, said: ‘The pub was always a very important part of our village and when it closed there was a void here.
‘Now that void has been filled and we hope the community will enjoy our new Social Club.’
