A former owner of the Aldersyde Hotel in Lamlash has fond memories of how it once looked.
This comes after The Banner told last month of the major revamp proposed for the hotel, now called the Lamlash Bay.
The hotel has planning permission for a new entrance, reception and first floor glass balcony along with an outside seating area.
But previous owner Jannette Price prefers to remember the mock Tudor style of the hotel which was built in the early 1920s which she and her late husband Kenneth bought for £85,000 in 1990.
