The Arran Ladies Hockey Team were prepared for a tough game against Hillhead Fives, who top the league after never conceding a goal.
But the home ground of Ormidale Park in Brodick once again worked in the island team’s favour despite being 1-0 at half time.
Ten minutes into the second half Arran were 2-0 down but they soon started to settle down and mark up properly with great passes and amazing teamwork with Anne Watts picking up the ‘dame of the game’ title.
