A community garden project is being launched in the grounds of Brodick Castle in a bid to bring people together interested in outdoor pursuits.
It is being formed as part of the Umbrella Project by the Arran Community and Voluntary Service which also embraces a indoor initiative.
Under a deal with the National Trust for Scotland the project has been given a parcel of overgrown land at Shore Lodge which will be used to create the community garden.
