A total of 24 players braved the terrible weather to compete in the hard fought but friendly Peggy Currie Cup competition at the Arran Bridge Club on Monday January 21.
Taking the top spot, in the team of four competition, were Tricia Martin and David Campbell with Maureen Cumming and Fiona Henderson. Runners up were Jan Beattie and John Beattie with Janie Maclure and Anne McKelvie.
Thursday January 24, aggregate competition results were: N/S 1 Janie Maclure and Anne Mckelvie, 2 Jennifer McArthur and Maureen Cumming,
3 Douglas Hamilton and John Beattie. E/W 1 Douglas and Margaret Bruce,
2 Brenda Livingstone and Pat Adamson, 3 Margaret McGill and Elaine Duncan.
